Wilsons partner with "Dr Petmann" for Christmas
This Christmas, Wilsons Pet Food were proud to work with famous cleaning brand Dr. Beckmann to produce a delicious Christmas meal for dogs in need.
Dr Beckmann rebranded to Dr Petmann to launch its Christmas campaign which saw the brand deliver 100 specially produced portions of premium Christmas dinners to rescue dogs at the Manchester & Cheshire Dog's Home in Warrington.
We were excited to produce this complete meal, using quality raw premium turkey along with a delicious blend of vegetables and nutrients, for this campaign and we were so happy to hear it went down very well with their rescue dogs!
Dr. Beckmann produce their famous Pet Stain & Odour Remover which effectively removes stains and odours caused by pets from carpets and upholstery, and created this campaign to help bring awareness of the sheer number of dogs who have sadly been abandoned since the easing of Covid-19 restrictions.

“We already have a great working relationship with Manchester & Cheshire Dogs Home and have partnered with them before to help make life a little easier for the dogs and the home.
“When we saw the figures showing that lockdown has caused a deluge of abandoned dogs since the easing of restrictions, we had to act. So, we’ve worked with Wilsons Pet Food to produce a special Christmas dinner of raw turkey food for the lovely dogs at the home. It is the least we could do.
“We gave the dogs at the dogs’ home a big Christmas celebration, with toys and decorations, party hats and, of course, the main event - the scrummy Christmas dinner.”
