Premium Dry Food for Dogs

Natural, Healthy and Nutritious

Available in 2kg or 10kg eco packs, Highland Venison & Trout is a complete grain free premium British dry dog food and is gently pressed with sweet potato, seaweed and green-lipped mussels in our Scottish factories.

We gently press our ingredients at low temperatures to retain nutrients, helping aid digestion and all round health. Our recipes use only quality ingredients to help your dog's skin, coat and immune system.

Venison contains vitamin B, zinc and iron, while trout is a great source of protein. Our recipe also contains sweet potato which is high in vitamin A, green-lipped mussels as a natural anti-inflammatory, and seaweed which is rich in antioxidants.

Now in recyclable eco packs, our cold pressed comes in 2kg and 10kg boxes with the option to simply replace the inner bag with our refill bag when it comes to reordering.

It is important not to over feed, as cold pressed dog food is nutritionally dense you will need to feed around 30% less than traditional kibble. When introducing Wilsons for the first time, ensure you gradually switch over from your previous dog food. Read our feeding guide for more information.

Remember to provide a ready source of fresh water and store food in a cool, dry area.

Feeding Guide

Unlike extruded food, Wilsons is carefully and gently pressed and the resulting density means your dog will require almost 30% less food by volume.

Pet nutritionists recommend feeding smaller amounts of Wilsons Cold Pressed food in the first few days, and mixed with the previous food. Over a period of about 10 days you can then gradually increase the amount of Wilsons whilst serving less of the old food.

If unsure, please check with your vet. Remember that access to water must be available at all times!

Highland Venison & Trout.

My dogs seem to enjoy this food but we are only on 2nd month so far so good. I tend to add some Salmon oil to soften so they enjoy even more. I feel the Venison and trout is good for my dogs aged 7&8 as it's low fat and has great nutrients.

Loves every bite

It’s wonderful to see my dog enjoying his food and me knowing what he’s eating. When I read the ingredients I was delighted. It’s a shame my dog can’t read as well then he would know he has the I can give him.

Crunchy accompaniment to raw

This is the best cold pressed and dogs love it.

Would like more info about combining with raw and portion sizes.
