How to feed Wilsons Pet Food

We're excited you've chosen to feed Wilsons! You've done the right thing, good human.

Please use this information as a guide. Your dog’s breed, condition and activity levels should also be considered as well as regular weight monitoring to adjust feeding quantities as required. If you are unsure, please check with your vet.

Take care not to overfeed. Our food is more nutritionally dense which means your dog may require less food than you currently feed.

Please ensure your dog always has access to fresh water.

Switching to Wilsons?

We recommend switching slowly from current food to ensure adjustment. Feed Wilsons as a separate meal while switching over.

Day 1-3 Switch 25% of current food

Day 4-6 Switch 50% of current food

Day 7-9 Switch 75% of current food

Day 9+ Feed 100% of Wilsons food

Take care not to overfeed.

Our Cold Pressed is more nutritionally dense which means your dog may require less food than you currently feed.

Storing Wilsons Pet Food

Store Cold Pressed in a cool, dry place. If decanting use a breathable container.

Store Fresh Dog Food in the cupboard, once opened you can keep it in the fridge for up to 4 days.

How to use our Feeding Guide

The total g per day should be split into two meals, morning and evening. Puppies require 4 meals per day, then at four months reduce to 3 and then finally move to 2 meals at around six months old.

Cold pressed is a complete food for dogs, which means it can be fed straight from box to bowl, unless you wish to add your own extras or raw frozen/fresh dog food.

Always monitor your dog’s weight and adjust feeding amounts as required. Our feeding table is only a guide and other factors including breed, condition and activity must be taken in to account.
