Luxury Dog Beds Handmade in Scotland

Tuffies is a family-run business producing luxury dog beds that was started in 2000. As dog owners themselves, they have always had their pets' welfare on their mind - as with most dogs, when they are not worked, walked or played with they are fairly idle and enjoy sleeping on their beds so it was important to them to create something which put their comfort first.

It quickly became clear that a lot of dog owners have the same need for good dog beds and Tuffies now supply everyone, who likes sturdy, nice, solid and proper dog beds all over the UK and beyond.

They have grown over the years and now have a big purpose built workshop and storage in rural Aberdeenshire, Scotland, where they handmake all their dog beds. They have a happy and ever expanding team of dog bed makers here, who skilfully and carefully create Tuffies dog beds.

They make every type of dog bed that you can think of from futon type mattress beds that NEVER go flat or lumpy, to their unique nest dog beds which your dog can snuggle up in, feeling safe and secure.

They are proud to make only top notch products. All their base fabrics are top quality waterproof fabrics, and their 1000 denier texturised Nylon "Durasoft" facric has an extra heavy polyurithane waterproof coating custom-made for Tuffies in order to give optimum performance for the dog bed application. Several of their soft cover fabrics are also purpose-made for Tuffies' quality demands.

As well as producing a host of traditional sizes in all their ranges of dog beds, they also offer a bespoke service for customers who are looking for a bed to specially fit anywhere they need, from crates, kennels and car boots to under kitchen cabinets or nooks.
