Wilsons launches their Haggis flavour at Paws in the Palace

It's been an exciting year of planning at Wilsons, and we were thrilled to attend our first event since the Covid-19 Pandemic hit.

Wilsons Marketing Executive, Holly, tells us all about Paws at the Palace at Scone Palace in Perthshire, Scotland and what our taste testers at the event thought of our new limited edition flavour.

"This September marks Wilsons Pet Food's 160th Anniversary of crafting pet food in Scotland. We've always made our food in Scotland and are extremely proud of our heritage. On Sunday, myself and Enya from the Wilsons team attended Paws at the Palace, held at Scone Palace which is only a 15-minute drive from our factory!

The day featured a whole range of stallholders selling dog-related products as well as many dog rescue charities who it was lovely to speak to! We always enjoy meeting both current and new customers as well as their loyal canine companions when we come to these sorts of events.

As it is our 160th Birthday this year, at Paws at the Palace we gave a first look of our brand new, limited edition Scottish recipes - Hunting Haggis cold pressed and Haggis Supper raw frozen dog food.

The Hunting Haggis taste test zone went down an absolute treat, with most of our specialist testers not being able to get enough of the limited edition recipe which launches in just a few weeks time.

Amanda on Instagram said - "Elle my cockapoo loved your new taste. Will be keeping our eyes peeled for the Haggis on sale! 🐾"

With Haggis being such a iconic dish in Scotland, and something I have personally grown up with, being able to create this delicious flavour for our customers across the UK has been an exciting project for the entire team!"

We hope your dogs love our new flavour as much as everyone at Paws at the Palace - keep your eyes on our website and social media, you can even sign up to be one of the first to find out when it's available online by clicking the "SUBSCRIBE NOW" button below...
