History of Wilsons Pet Food

Wilsons Pet Food has its origins in the mid-19th century and is now one of the longest established pet food companies in the UK.

Wilsons has come a long way since father and son, Robert & John Wilson, decided to give up their farm in Scotland to become grain and feed merchants, using a borrowed horse and cart to buy and sell animal feeds to local farmers.

These days, we’re all about keeping it simple and local. We craft premium, quality food that is truly good for dogs.

Our two factories in the heart of Scotland produce natural and minimally processed cold pressed and raw frozen dog food. Combined, we have over 40,000 sq. ft of manufacture and storage facilities approved by APHA.

Promoting better digestion and nutrition, we only use the best ingredients in our recipes, which have been developed by top nutritionists to help improve your dog’s all-round heath.
